My dad was on the Palliative Homecare Program and a prescription to provide relief to a suffering man (only available at Stones) was submitted by the attending physician. Stones sat on it for 5 days waiting for approval--I had to drive from Sydney Mines to Baddeck to enquire about the prescription. I got a negative "waiting for approval" response. I paid for the prescription and received it in 15 minutes. Sextons Pharmasave in Sydney Mines issued numerous palliative care subscriptions immediately, knowing the approval would be forthcoming. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Approached the counter to ask where I might find an item and before I could ask I was told to use the other cash by a young man who looked nervous and slightly perturbed. I was able to then inform him I was looking for the item which happened to be on the cash counter.. Then I went to the glass refrigerators to get a Coke but only found milk and eggs... Went to the counter to pay for my items at the proper cash this time so I asked if they sold pop and again was greeted by another cashier who also seemed self conscious and slightly bothered by being asked the question..by Jeff WhitakerDecember 27, 2016
